I think the President finally 'got it' when the day after the Iraqi election the NYT's comes out with the wiretap story and the Patriot Act gets shelved by the Senate.
That was a great line! HOw is Reid going to explain rejoicing over killing the Patriot Act?
Right. And I'm sure Reid and his boys already have their 'response' ready.
Highlighting successes of 2005. Many of them to list. Lots of work to do. Tax reform, junk lawsuits, health insurance reform, immigration reform, Confirm Justice Alito by Jan 20.
He's angry and on. I'm interested to hear the questions from the media.
I'm also interested in hearing Bush ignore the media question and communicate what needs to be communicated.
It felt like Clinton was making a speech claiming credit for something he had nothing to do with or whining about mean Republicans every single week. I think Bush is on the right track by being visible.
I wish he would do just that!

Seems like a good idea, but rich Republicans who made their money through investments didn't choose loser stocks like that. They invested in companies that actually produce something useful.
