I am getting the impression that the Democrats as HELL BENT on having their OWN way about everything, as in, "We may pass legislation, but it will be OUR legislation, or no legislation."
I think they are setting up for impeachment.
For all we know, they have ALL know about the wiretaps for years and have a step by step plan to progress toward that exact end.
For all we know, they PLANNED this entire thing AFTER they knew about the wiretapping (and didn't object then).

they are on a role on this impeachment stuff - it's their first step - they think they might have something. The "law" word is being used very heavily by the dems now and it's gonna be a mantra over the next few weeks And they want to start all this next year ... 2006
