When Levin was asked about the responsibility of Congressional leaders to report illegal acts, he looked very disgruntled and finall came up with "they're bound by secrecy rules on classified materials" which is wrong.
You can't hide something that's illegal without joining the conspiracy. Clearly the leadership didn't think this was illegal.

Not really. Out of any 100 given people on a job, about ten are carrying the lion's share of the load, five are actively trying to sabotage the effort for their own selfish reasons, and the other eighty-five are basically standing around picking their noses.

Hmmmm, could it be that the mediots are so hysterical about this monitoring because it might catch one of them planting leaks? I wouldn't put it past any of them.
