I signed up, will give it a try. Got a 500000 step work unit to run on my dual processor G4, so we'lll see how that goes. Can't run it if it slows down my work during the week, but I'll see how it runs tonight.

I have work machines set to 50% to 75% maximum cycles during the week. My personal owrk computer does mostly DB inquiries, and that one of set to max - 95% all the time.

No noticible problems at all, since F@H drops to 0% when I run other processes.

Dual processor systems usually score very well in F@H work units.

My first problem was 500,000 steps and it took about a week on my 2 gig AMD (it's my server so it runs 24/7).

My new problem is 3,5000,000 steps, I was floored when I saw it. But it is 10% through after 24 hr, so I'm not sure the number of steps is very relevant.
