You must feel that you are the only person who matters.I've repeatedly asked to be allowed to act responsibly. You disagree that I should be allowed the choice. You think a third party knows better. Best of luck with that.

The owner who is asking you to turn off your Blackberry is hardly a third party if you are on his property.

You may well act responsibly, but business owners should be allowed to make the rules they feel are better for their business. Would you feel a theater owner should be forced to allow patrons bring their own snacks in a theater if they want, or should a restaurant owner be forced to do away with their dress code just because a patron feels he is dressed well enough, even if his dress is not up to the restaurant's dress code?

I've repeatedly asked to be allowed to act responsibly. What does "act responsibly" mean? If you mean keeping your device on a QUIET vibrate setting, sitting next to an aisle and carefully and quietly stepping out of the theater to take care of business, I don't think many people would have an objection.
If you think you can spend 15 minutes sending messages on your device while lighting up your entire row, or answering a call DURING the movie (regardless of how long it takes you), then we run into problems.
