I live just south of Sarasota. The stench from north of the skyway bridge blankets us on cold days. Scientology's moral inversions infect cities such as Sarasota that cling to foolish notions of sophistication.

Florida is an enigma to me. I believe, or at least I wish to believe, and I have heard, that Jeb Bush is a good man. I realize that Florida's "moral inversions" predate his administration by generations. Is he blind to them, or has he chosen to "go along to get along?"
One interesting development. I worked on the W campaign in Pinellas last year. Pinellas voted Republican for the first time in (I think) 16 years. Perhaps things are changing in that moral wasteland.
