My tag line is all I have to say, re: the notion that social conservatives were/are (somehow) "wrong" to insist upon principled observance of the core precepts of social conservatism by the (purportedly) "conservative" Senators and Representatives who -- without OUR donations, and OUR votes -- wouldn't be lolling about in D.C. to criticize us in the first place.

The senators from Maine have 1/50 of the votes in the Senate and represent about 1/200 of the population. It is about the last place where states rights have any practical effect anymore.
