Poll Freep - Holiday Tree (is it ugly?)
FODHS ^ | December 17, 2005 | G.King

And So It Was Written, By You, To Us...

Some wrote to us upset about the city's Holiday Tree but darn glad the city did not call it a Christmas Tree.

Some wrote upset with us for mentioning it. Can't you find anything positive to say about the tree?

Instead of arguing about it, let's just take a vote!

POLL

What do you think about The City of Desert Hot Springs Holiday Tree?
- It is Beautiful. I love it! - Pretty. But can we have some bows and ribbon maybe?
- It looks better than the rest of Palm Drive.
- It looks like a colorful spider.
- Ugly. Where is my chain saw?
- Apathetic. Undecided. Whatever the City wants to do.

My response isn't represented in that poll!

"I'm glad that tree isn't in MY city!"

That's a pretty positive statement!

Which Holiday are they talking about??

Thats a good question. After all, Americans like to get trees and decorate them for every holiday.....*intense sarcasm* Maybe its a Labor Day tree..or an Earth Day tree, or even an Independence Day tree.

The Tumblewood tree is not so bad. Does it have lights at night - I mean regular lights, not rope light?
