"I honestly cannot understand that bias. This is the greatest country in the world and MSM wants it to fail."

The MSM knows that the U.S. must be destroyed in order for their dream vision of socialism (read: gradle to grave central planning) and wealth redistribution (primarily **all** of the Wealth of the West sent to Africa) to have a chance of success.

Because as long as the U.S. stands, capitalism, democracy, republics, and the free choice of the individual will triumph.

To destroy the U.S., the MSM *wants* WMDs to proliferate. They *want* the nuclear family to disintegrate. They want every pillar of strength in the U.S. to be destroyed (e.g. religion, Boy Scouts, marriage, monogamy, real art, traditional food, internal combustion engine, etc.).

The MSM *wants* euthanasia, abortion, and gay sex because these things are all destabilizing to long term societal survival (if practiced in large enough numbers).

The MSM wants criminals freed and the death penalty abolished for the same reason: it further destabilizes society.

The MSM wants public transportation to replace private vehicles for similar reasons (e.g. the death of individual freedom of movement).

The MSM wants higher taxes to discourage capitalism as well as to redistribute wealth. The MSM wants to nationalize health care in order to limit individual choice.

This is why the MSM is gleeful when destabilizing classified information is leaked (e.g. Pentagon Papers, Abu Ghraib, terrorist prisons, NSA spying, etc.) on the one hand, yet the MSM feigns "outrage" when classified information such as "outing" Valerie Plame is made public.

It is all consistent with the MSM's overall goals of killing individual choice (gun control, anyone) while redistributing all, repeat, all of the Wealth of the West.

Yes, that is a good cartoon.

The liberals and the elite media are not happy about Iraq becoming succesful.

One can see this in the increased use of profantity by the left. The left is loosing the facts and the issues. And they know it.

All the left has now is personal insults and profanity.

"All points in your post well taken. The other side of the point above is---getting more Sunnis to turn the terrorists into the Iraqi authorities."
That should have been included in my statement. That will be a defining moment in time when they point out the hard cores and zman goons they used to support.

We have as you are aware read many a military generated article on how friendly and honorable Iraqi are in general. It is so sad they have had to go through so much. That family probably just wants to live in peace and bring up their children with the chance they could have a more sound future.

You are absolutely dead on. You have them nailed.

I just watched Gregg Jarret (sp) point out to Beckle that the POTUS broke no law in ordering NSA to do those intercepts. Terry Holt was representing our side. Just a glance at the screen told it all: Holt's face was relaxed and all the lines turned upward. Beckle was gritting his teeth and his mouth curved downward.

They are not going to get away with it.........again.

I think that you are correct.

The word is spreading around the world thru folks like us. Reports and pictures are quietly telling the truth.

The liberals and the elite media are doing everything possible to stop fair and accurate reports. They are and will continue to lose.

That is why they as so desperate with their personal attacks. They can not debate the facts nor the issues.

You are right on. And in so many cases, it clearly can be seen where the demorat makes a comment that exposes just how ill-informed they actually are. Hopefully more Americans are starting to get the idea they are a pack of frigen losers and mostly liers.

You nailed it. They are soooooo wrong. I hope their "time in the sun" is over and the Internet makes it difficult for them to continue their lies, by commission and omission.

Well stated. As I posted earlier, I cannot understand their bias. I realize that pure socialism is their goal but who do think will pay for it. Government money isn't "free" money. Someone has to pay for every giveaway program. The main point always seems to be "redistribution of wealth", a nice sounding statement meaning the workers pay for the slackers, deadbeats, and thugs. Sometimes I just think "I'm glad that I'm old and don't have to see the end of this" then I see my kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids and get involved again.

"It is all consistent with the MSM's overall goals of killing individual choice (gun control, anyone) while redistributing all, repeat, all of the Wealth of the West."

I agree with your post. As I see it, the MSM functions primarily as a tool of the worldwide organized hard left (WOHL). This is the organization that used to be International Communism, founded by the Soviets. It was run by the KGB, then an organ of the Soviet government.

Now it is run by the government of Russia, which is, essentially, the old KGB.

From an article in the Wall Street Journal, page 1, Wednesday, February 23, 2005:

"Mr. Putin him self served more than 15 years in the KGB and later headed its successor, the FSB. Since taking over the Kremlin in 2000, he has presided over an unprecedented influx of ex-KGB men into the upper echelons of power---men whose formative years were spent learning how to undermine the West's interests.

Prominent among the ex-KGB officials who now pace the Kremlin's corridors are Defense minister Sergei Ivanov, Interior Minister Rahid Nurgaliev, and FSB chief Nikolai Patrushev, as well as the heads of Russia's arms-export, defense-procurement, and drug-enforcement agencies. A close Putin aide and former KGB man, Victor Ivano, serves on the board of flagship airline OAO Aeroflot. A favorite parlor game in Russia is to divine which other senior officials and businessmen have suspicious gaps in their resume that suggest a past with the intelligence services."

I believe most of the MSM are not highly aware of who controls them and function to a large extent as "useful idiots".

You got that right. Like jmc1969 said a few days back, looks like the zman is starting to belt down shots of spiked goat milk as he wears a bullseye on his back.

I think this is the result of the cleanup operation we had near the Syrian border, where the terrorists had safe houses, weapons and used as their HQ, not to mention the reinforcements they were getting from Syria.

This can't be true. Jack Murtha and Jerrold Nadler said the situation wasn't getting any better and in fact that it was getting worse. They did.
