Other than what you hear from the NY Times, do you know exactly what happened? I haven't heard any NSA Leading Official talk about it, nor a FISA judge, nor the White House.

Well then if the New York Times story is all wrong then no doubt we'll soon see the evidence that refutes it. But what if it isn't wrong?

I didn't say all wrong, I said "exactly what happened" and I doubt we will see all the evidence because there are some top-secret issues involved. I would venture to say that the subjects being tapped were not American citizens and if that is the case they are either illegal or have visa's that limit their rights. This story appears to be nothing more than a promotion for a book deal.
