My fingers, if I can remember that far back, usually were stained yellow at the second knuckle of the left hand. Filters were rare and Lucky Strike and Camels were in. Like you, I got use to it, didn't notice it, but the Nuns could spot it right off when we got a surprise finger nail inspection.

Boy, was I a dumb kid!

A couple martinis a day, thins your blood, and a little alcohol is recommended by most doctors. But at my age I'm cutting back, so now I'm switching to 'box' wine, less alcohol per glass you know. It's a strategy that worked in kicking the smoking habit.

Seriously, have you ever blown smoke rings? If you try to 10 minutes after a cigarette, you probably could eke one out, that's the puff I'm talking about.

I think that for the time being I will stick with the evidence around me and from the AMA and NHI rather than "forces international"

If you look at it, you will find that the information from FORCES uses the identical information the anti-smokers you embrace use - they just don't use the spin of the anti-smokers to make things say what they want it to say.

Again I will state that which you refuse to acknowlege - no one is denying the risks of smoking..........you are spouting fabricated nonsense that any exposure to any SHS is deadly........if you believed it you would USE absolutely NO combustible substances in your life and would never be near any.....in other words you would live in a bubble.

You don't - so even you don't believe the nonsense you are repeating.

You are still on this...unbelievable.

Listen up. Smoke all you want but just don't smoke around me or around my kids. And...when it comes time to pass laws restricting or even eliminating your "right" - I will vote to do so.

Know why? You have no constitutional right to spew carbon monoxide smoke anywhere around me without my consent...anywhere. States and communities can pass all kinds of laws and there is no Constitutional guarantee that smoking a right.

Aw! But where I live they have "no burn days" where they do that if the air quality isn't up to certain standards.

I read about that..........we'd go crazy......the woodstove is burning as I type.

But I appreciate what you said in a previous post about voting against a ban, even with your aversion to SHS.......folks with that attitude are actually the majority of non-smokers and the majority of smoker will be more than happy to accomodate you.

It is the anti-smokers who are the intolerant control freaks who have no concept of the idea of private property.

Second hand smoking is extremely dangerous. It is a major cause of global warming, hurricanes and possibly it is responsible for tsunamis!

LOL...in any case, there is lots of evidence for second hand smoke's dangers...especially to young children.

The only ting that has ever caused my fingers to be yellow is too much turmeric in either what I'm eating or in the pickling solutin I'm using while cooking........sheesh.

The ONLY thing that has ever made my fingers stained yellow, was when I used to help my now adult dye Easter eggs, when she was bitty. :-)

As much evidence as for global warming and for health benefits of homosexual life style.

If you're being sarcastic, please post the FR /sarcasm at the end of your post.

If you are being serious, then you couldn't be more uninformed and dead wrong, if you tried!

You have no constitutional right to set foot on the private propety of another....get used to it.

As to me still being on this...........I've been dealing with it since the 1980s, I probably have forgotten more of the detailes of the research than you will ever know.

States and coumminities can pass all kinds of laws and there is no Constitutional guarantee that not being ever offended is a right.

Please understand I will remember your attitude when there is a possibility of a vote depriving you of rights to your private property.....unlike you, I will always vote in favor of the property owner.

Merry Christmas

The turmeric was on my mind because I went crazy trying to get it off my fingernails after eating some absolutely fabulous Carribean chicken wings both Thursday and yesterday :)
