Military Pension? As a reserve officer he will not recieve any military pension unless he had 20 years of active military service. If he has less than 20 years of active military service as a reserve he recieves NO PENSION until age 65. BUT he is no longer a reserve, so he will not recieve ANY pension. NONE.

Another article says he's 42. Figure he likely graduated college at around 22 and probably entered the service shortly thereafter. There is a good chance he pulled this stunt with just under 20 years of service. He probably won't qualify for a pension.

He won't get a pension. I believe the ANG has to serve until age 55 to collect a pension and this guy won't make it.
