It's interesting that since the Patriot Act has been in place, there hasn't been a major terrorist act in the US.

The logical fallacies here are at least correlation vs. causation (did PA cause this or is it coincidence), oversimplification (there can be many causes), suppressed evidence (no other possibilities given) and appeal to force ("It's keeping you safe, so accept it").
