Hillary thanks you for yours. She'd love to have this in place so she can chase down her opponents in secret.
What dream world do you live in? Walk onto your local university and call the first gay person you see a "fag". You'll have a crash course in hate speech....and it won't be pretty.
It's very hard to take you seriously when you use words like "hate speech."
I was going to say,
But, you already did!
Could you elaborate. And no, I am not being funny.
Thanks.
This seems very simple to me, but maybe I'm too simple-minded. To me, if you have nothing to hide, then you should not be concerned. I have nothing to hide and am not afraid of getting caught doing anything wrong, so as far as I'm concerned, wire-tap away.
If you DO have something to hide or are up to something malicious, then I hope you get caught, pure and simple.
I am much less concerned about a few wiretappings of some far-left wackos than being slaughtered by al-Queda. Just my simple Southern thoughts here...
Question. Do you send all your personal snail mail on postcards, or do you prefer to use envelopes? If you do use envelopes, what are you hiding?
Personally, I'm about to set up those friends I regularly email with PGP. Hey, NSA, have fun with that 1024-bit encrypted email. Oooh, what's that 1 MB file a US citizen emailed to Germany? Must be a ... a ... (loads of supercomputer time later) ... picture of his kid?
Why? Why would a party want someone who usually votes against them.
Do you happen to know the results of the vote, I mean who voted no, yes
I'm being purely cynical. If the rats don't pass some sort of Patriot act and terrorists attack their cities (which is where they attack - the blue cities), how long before some one says, had they passed the Patriot act provisions, it would have been prevented.
Even if they wouldn't have prevented it, the rats showed weakness and our enemies took the sign.

Wow. Just... wow.
The Founders would weep if they could see how lightly some of us value the liberty they were willing to sacrifice their lives to secure for us.
Do you close your curtains at night, do you lock your front door? Do you have a problem with a man coming in, flashing a badge and telling you that your home is now under his control? Do you have a problem with the neighbors opening your private mail in your mailbox? Do you mind having your house bugged just so some random government agency can "check in" and make sure you're not a terrorist? Do you have the slightest clue what articles and amendments of the Constitution limit the power of the US government......?
The Republicans DO control congress. They just give up when there's a THREAT of a filibuster.
Frist's Nay vote was a procedural one...it allows him to call the bill back up. Had he voted with the losing side, he would not have that option.
I can't figure out these virtual filibusters.
I don't know the answer to that question myself.
But I do know that during the primmary President Bush and other Republican heavyweights campaigned for him against Toomey[sp?].
And after the e,ections myself and several thousand other individuals tried to keep him from getting the Chairmanship of the Senate Juducuary Committee. To no avail.

If an attack occurs on the United States during the lapse of The Patriot Act, and if that attack could have been prevented via better intelligence cut off by th, then Senator Kyl is right: The filibustering senators will be responsible.
As a caller put it: The Senate Democrats have gone Ahab. Their hatred of Bush has forced them into an obbsessive rage that has clouded their judgment even about their --and the nation's-- survival.
I have spent way too much time here and need some shut eye.
If another attack comes and a love one in my family dies in the attack, I would send the smoldering remains to the fillibusting Senator's office and an attached note telling him if he does not restore the Patriot Act within 72 hours, he will hear from me again.
'..Mr.Feingold......would have to have spine....'
EXCELLENT POINT!!
Your remarks about Craig are unfounded. Idaho's reps are some of the few repiblican's that still think for themselves and the great state they represent. Take off your checkpants 911 happened before the so called patriot act.
