The concept of dialectics has been around for a long time. Noah Webster (1828 edition) defined dialectics as: "That branch of logic which teaches the rules and modes of reasoning." Simply stated, dialectics refers to 'position' versus 'opposition' or 'thesis' versus 'antithesis.' By the traditional rules of conduct, if thesis is correct then it follows logically that antithesis is incorrect. Georg Hegel, an Enlightenment shock trooper of evil, discarded the rules and turned the concept upside-down by equalizing thesis and antithesis, which resulted in moral relativity. 'New truth' is now found in something called 'synthesis.

Being a Christian I sympathize with her concerns, but alot of this article is just stupid. Sometimes people read just enough to be dangerous. Conflating "dialectic" and Hegel, as if he invented the word in the 2nd millineum AD? Dumbing down Hegel's thesis - antithesis - synthesis into a necessary overthrow of traditional logic? Connecting Hegel to the UN conspiracy to effect a one world government? Making words like "synthesis" and "consensus" into dark, esoteric, plots against all that is good?

Please. This stuff appeals to the half-literate.

"Conflating...Dumbing down...Connecting...Making..."

Actually, she didn't do any of those things.

Of course, if you haven't noticed that there really is a "dark, esoteric, plots against all that is good" in progress, I guess it might look like that.

You are wrong. When good and evil reach a "consensus" position, evil has always triumphed and good has always been defeated. Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." That is a clear, uncompromising thesis which, if true (and I KNOW that it is), admits of no movement towards synthesis.

Well, considering the source...

Marx and Engels, by your reckoning, might not have been great thinkers. But they were smart enough to seize upon Hegel's world view and his particular dialectic, taking it as the model for their blueprint for the revolution.

In the Communist thought process, the dialectic is supposed to continue. Which is bad news for us. What we have seen of them so far is merely the antithesis to capitalism, i.e., The Dictatorship of the Proletariat. World Communism is to be the eventual synthesis, and they are still working it out.

Fasten your seatbelt, this bumpy ride toward the Communist Synthesis ain't over yet.
