Don't these people ever
work?
They don't have time to get rid of the AMT, they don't have time to come up with an acceptable replacement for the sunsetting "Patriot Act", but they have time for this flapdoodle.

The Constitution should be amended so that all federal laws contain a sunset of not later than twenty years from enactment. That way, the mess cleans itself up automatically, and Congress is kept to busy renewing the laws (if any) that are worth keeping to get itself into new mischief.

Do you really think so? :-)) That if the corrupt LA/NO incompetents don't get enough shakedown money to repair the levees and pocket the rest, the decadent city of NO might die? That would truly be a Christmas present / New Year's wish all rolled into one. We can only hope so!
Yes, letting an American city be completely destroyed instead of rebuilding it as promised is a good thing. Talk about people from other planets.
Also, that was merely one example of something better that Congress has to do besides passing a bill in support of Christmas, as if it needs supporting.

Talk about people from other planets If the DimWits, libs & left-wingers want to rebuild NO.... let em do it and pay for it. I don't want my tax dollars being used to rebuild a cesspool in a bathtub so to speak.
ps. You can help pay for it as well if you want. Be my guest!
