I'd support an impeachment of George Bush... but only if they can actually find a 'REAL' reason and not some silly haliburton fantasy.
I'd say that signing the admittedly-unconstitutional CFR in direct violation of his oath of office should be grounds.

Check the breakdown: not even a majority of Dems think the President should be impeached. Over 50% of Dems do think that Cheney should get the axe.
Here's the big question, though: why is this news? A minority of Americans believe that a sitting President should be impeached while there is no impeachment-related proceeding going on.

This doesnt surprise me. This same 32% would get in Kennedys car and take a ride across a narrow bridge.
They are the Lemmings of the Dem party.
To: finnman69
no surprise, the highest percentage is from those earning less than 20K and age 18-29.In other words LW moonbat college students.
Lagniappe: guess which group of eligible voters is least likely to vote?

For what?
You get right to the point. The fact that they are even doing such a poll is a sign of blatant bias. The president has not been charged with any high crimes or misdemeanors, nor has there even been the slightest indication of a move to do such a thing, yet they are doing a poll about impeachment!

It illustrates what a bunch of nutcases the Dems are.

It's a very bad polling question.
If they went to any Congressional District and asked "Do you think Congressmen Smith (whoever) should be forced to resign because of ethical violations", you'd probably get a quarter saying yes, even if Congressmen Smith was the cleanest politician in the world.
The pollster has given the respondents the implicit message that Bush has done something worth impeachment. If you asked those who said yes "what should Bush be impeached for?" a good chunk of them would change their minds and say that he should not be impeached.

Pretty sad when 32% of the country are crazy moonbats that should be committed to straight jackets and a funny farm for the rest of their lives.......

"there is a sizable population that thinks Clinton wasn't impeached"
My late father was a lawyer and a smart guy, but even he didn't understand the concept of impeachment; like many, he thought "impeached" means "removed from office," and we got into an argument about whether Clinton was impeached.

It depends how the poll frames it's questions. I.E. "If President Bush lied the country about Iraq should he be impeached".
First impressions of this article is distturbing.
Why is this "push poll" done when the Iraqi elections are happening and Bush's approval is on the increase?

I think the answer is contained in the question. :-)

NR has a "Hotline" poll with the President at 50%.

60% of the American people don't want the President impeached. The moonbats are fluttering around, flapping their gums. Nothing will come of their fantasy.

Don't those weiners realize what they would get if W was impeached? Dick "Big Time" Cheney. I'm pretty sure the VP would govern to the right of W if installed as the head rock. Perhaps they would rethink their opinions if presented with that fact. Oh wait, that would require the capacity for intelligent thought...
