Hi sistah. Just getting here. Are you getting snow there? It's been snowing all day here, but fortunately it's wet and melting on the roads. Very pretty!
Ouch on your mattress ordeal! ((((dolly)))))

Looks like you've had some "playtime" today! Yes, and it is WONDERFUL! Don't mean to brag or nuthin', but.....all my Christmas shopping is done! YIPPEE!! Now, I can sit back and enjoy the decorated house and not have to continue to stress over what to buy for people. They are going to get what I got them.....which is mostly gift certificates. LOL.
Wish you could spend more time with us, sistah, but it is nice that you can take a break once in awhile and peak in on us.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas celebration this weekend. :-)

Thank you, sistahs. It's nice to see all three of you here at the same time. I have to leave for a while. Will try to get back later this afternoon. Dutchess, do hope you will be around tomorrow even for a little while, but if not, hope your weekend is perfect for your family Christmas!
Somebody has a special treat for us tomorrow - just a heads up! :)

Look what I found under my Christmas tree! Now, I also have something purple, red and sparkly to wear to celebrate Iraqi voting day and for "wear red for the troops" Fridays.
Thank you SantaWolf. I think purple is my color. :-)

Great essay and presentation. Thank you, JH2 and dutchess

Very, very sweet. Loved your post for Dolly, Billie. Thank You for including my sweet Lucy, she wants to put a smile in Dolly's heart. The graphic you posted reminds a little of Lucy.

This will be the photo on my Christmas Card this year, finally finished decorating my Christmas tree. Was happy to find tinsel / icicles. LOL, I bought a bunch of it to get me through several years :-)

Hi again. Ended up in a snowdrift in front of our house just now and Mr. D. just dug me out. (7 inches of snow so far) Our bathroom sink and toilet backed up twice this week...the second time this morning. Carpeting in study and family room was soaked. Our water softener runs through the same line when it regenerates and turns out we had roots in our lines outside causing the backup. FORTUNATELY it was "clean" water. Plumber to the rescue this afternoon. All the family coming in tomorrow night. Shoppings not done, still have one more tree to put up. Ordered a number of out of state restaurant gift certificates and no mail today due to weather (am stressed that they won't be here by Saturday). All I can say is "bah humbug"!!! (that's what you get for bragging about being done :o) ) But, yes, still there's alot to be grateful for. Attitude adjustment on it's way :o)

Hi Dutchess I love the prayer table you created. :)
Would love to take credit for that but that was the generic one we all used to use...I think billie did it. Since then everyone has created their own EXCEPT ME. It's on my ever growing "TO DO" list LOL!
How are you doing? Are you ready for Christmas?
See post just before this to Lori. Have 20 family members here this weekend..and nope not even close to ready! Today has been one big Murphy's Law....BUT...things will work out!

The Pleasanton location is new for this election. The expatriates had to travel to LA in the previous election - twice. Once to register and then to return to vote. They set it up for them to register and vote at the same time. And, they are all LEGAL immigrants
That is so very cool. It is just amazing how the libs here are whining about long lines, how dare we consider a voter ID and the low turnouts we have here. Atleast there is some positive coverage of this election. AMAZING!!!
