I've already heard on CNN that once the parliament is seated, there is a deep concern that violence may be a problem as the differeing views get discussed.....great optimism here.
Let's review the attempts to discredit Bush's Iraq policy
1) The soldiers have bogged down along the Euphrates.
2) Power won't be trnsferred on time to the Iraqi's
3) The first election won't happen
4) The Iraqi's will never understand democracy
5) The US is losing
6) The permanent election won't happen
7) There will be a civil war
8) Iraq will fall aprt into three countries
9) and now, the elctions will lead to sectarian violence

"Voting irregularities" will be a big meme. I heard it already on NPR this morning. The response should be that we in the US have been voting for centuries and there are always allegations of voting irregularities (usually in rat districts)...
