So what you're saying is that if I want to get into the UCLA/USC grad program for film, I just need to murder a bunch of people and build my street gang?

I remember some cable news people interviewing this guy.
Looked like he made sure he had taken care of himself before all others and was sitting on his ass.

From your article: "You can see the maggots eating his corpse up, he said. Its been 12 days out in this hot sun, and they wont move him. Theres no reason for this. Its just blatant neglect. If it was a white guy, this would have been up."
My question is: If there's a dead body laying on the ground for 12 days WHY DON'T YOU BURY THE DAMNED BODY YOURSELF???"

It's strange, isn't it, how the big, strong men do nothing but whine.
That's all they do. They can't be bothered to do a damn thing for themselves or anyone else.

Never mind that there is no evidence whatsoever of our hero Rahim doing any of the things he now claims to have done. (Though he and his merry band of "anarchists" are suspected of stealing Red Cross supplies.)
----I would say there is about as much reason to honor him as there would be any of the liars coming out of the woodwork down there claiming racial discrimination concerning Katrina while sponging off the taxpayers.

That article seems really wrong to me. I volunteered with Common Ground for about two weeks and in that time I met Malik. He was a very generous man and the organization he started is doing a lot to help New Orleans. From what I've seen there has been a lot LESS racism in the area since Common Ground began. (And Algiers never flooded...) Residents were grateful that they were getting some help. Also, no one stole supplies from the Red Cross. People from the Red Cross would often come to the Common Ground buildings and donate food and blankets, etc. because the CG organization is getting more attention from the people of new orleans so those supplies would have done more good with CG to give out to the people.
If you want the truth about whats going on New Orleans, just go there and experience it first hand. It's much different in real life from what you see on the news.
