I see you have the mortar loader guy, but what about the mortar man himself? And what about flame thrower guy and grenade thrower guy? I sure had some fun with those when I was a kid. I had a different set of toy soldiers that were slightly smaller--In setting up battles I used them as the Japs!

Rathergate began in 2004, so not sure its a 2005 candidate.....However, the NOLA, no-bushbashing evacuee interview was hilarious! The look on the MSM reporter's face was PRICELESS!Another one was the recent Canoe-gal on the Today show, where guys walked by in waders. The water was 3 inches deep.

I was in Iraq when this happened. I couldn't believe it! I noticed the doll in the PX at Anaconda and then a few days later there he was being held hostage! To my great relief and amusement I saw that it wasn't a real soldier but the doll from the PX. When it was exposed as a hoax I read about it first on Free Republic. Moral was at an all time high for me.

Not a doll, an action figure.
Those are the exact words that Congression Medal of Honor recipient Mitchell Paige used when he was signing my GI Joe special edition...

Don't forget the news gal in the canoe in 6" of water.

FA,
Look- he has a weapon, and comes shipped with factory-infused menace on his face.
You know the first thing he would do when he got home from Iraq? Tap Barbie.
You know the second thing he would do when he got back from Iraq? Drop his rucksack.
This cat is hard-core to his plasticene bones. He'd make Ken sit down to piss.
...
...
But yeah, he's basically a doll.

yeah that was a classic too, but that was just an attempt at being overly-dramatic and the morning show did start to make fun of her on camera for it....
this is worse than that. It's an out and out lie that was very easy to debunk.

It looks incomplete but they're all HIGHLY trained and specialized. It bugs me, though, that their officer appears to be calling for a retreat.
He's a registered Democrat.

I fi had a son who played exclusively with "action figures", I'd kick his butt and hand him a tonka truck or fishing pole.
To: MikeinIraq
ROFL - yeah, I remember that one. Hilarious!
Another great reinforcement for my faithful trust in the media. ;-)
(Did they behead the doll?)
