What the worldwide press isnt telling people (big surprise!) is that a certain group of youth of a certain cultural extraction have been increasingly hostile and aggressive over the last several years. Gang rapes have been rampant. The police of NSW have been hog-tied in their ability to control the situation. Opportunistic groups like neo-Nazis joined in and now the MSM has been gleefully reporting that its a bunch of racists running ther show there.

The coverage in the Australian, linked above, has been pretty fair.

Everything else has been appalling. They are all trying to "sell" the story that the Aussies are all a bunch of racists who just started running around and bashing a bunch of poor innocent ME's.

When the neo nazis join in the fray, it tends to discredit the activities of the majority law abiding dissenters.
By having a loose alliance with neo nazis, there is bound to be charges of racism since the neos are the most outspoken of racist groups.

I think treating this as a police problem is a grave mistake. As in France, it is an insurrection, a military problem.
