This columnist's knowledge of history is suspiciously selective. The Mufti of Palestine was a close ally of Mussolini and Hitler, and provided material and logistical support for the Holocaust and strategic and tactical support for the Axis campaigns of WWII. From the point of view of holding guilty parties responsible, it made exactly as much sense to destroy the Mufti's Palestine as it did to destroy Hitler's Germany or Hirohito's Japan.
More like non-existent. He seems unaware that the sandmaggots themselves know for a fact that that "palestine" is a bogus concept invented entirely for poltical purposes:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism."
