I guess we ought to quit letting these guys sit on death row for decades. Execution should be within three years of sentencing. Sounds pretty fair to me.
It's perfect liberal logic: keep a murderous scumbag alive for an extra 2+ decades, however long it takes until he becomes sick or enfeebled, then say it's too late to allow justice to be served........ wait 'till the Mumia-scum starts claiming he's ill after being on death row for 20+ years............
My sentiments exactly. When I read "Allen, who has spent more than a quarter-century on Death Row . . ." my first thought was if he was executed sooner he wouldn't have come down with all these infirmities.
Anyway, as others have mentioned, he is white and if sentence is commuted, the usual cast of professional victims will be screaming "RACISM!". The guy is toast, and evidently well deserves it.
