That's self-contradictory. If one can refer to a "you" a year (or whenever) before "you's" birth, the "you" must must have existed in some form or another. You're right.
Nothing existed that could be called YOU, prior to your conception.
And when you die, well... you're no longer.

Fine. But then a tree didn't exist before it was born from a seed, and after it dies and rots away into the ground, it continues to exist in the earth in another form. What do Christian theologians say about it, I wonder.
