Virgin Galactic is not being taxpayer funded. The *spaceport* is. Taxpayers foot the bill for many airports without people whining about Virgin Atlantic Airlines being taxpayer funded; taxpayers pay for highways without complaints that UPS is taxpayer funded, etc.
