He was painful to watch when he first started..I checked back a few months ago and decided my decision to skip it was a good one.

Maybe they can hire Bill Clinton to cover Hillary's run for prez. I'm sure he could be impartial too.

This Georgy Porgy?
"Gary Aldrich, the retired FBI agent who wrote the best-selling book Unlimited Access, has been demonized by the establishment media, thanks largely to the machinations of George Stephanopoulos, the spinmeister who used to manipulate the media from his White House office" ...
From this 1997 article
Who better to "spinmeister" the news [?] at ABC?

"This Week," where Stephanopoulos has been anchor since 2002, is currently third in the ratings behind NBC's "Meet the Press" and CBS' "Face the Nation," but Westin said it had its best November sweeps performance in three years. Stephanopoulos will anchor a one-hour ABC News special on the nation's political divisions next year, Westin said. Guess that's why Westin makes the big bucks.

Even though "Face the Nation" has sucked for three years, we're still going to promote Stephanopoulos because, by God, this year it didn't suck as bad.

The media cant understand why conservative Republicans claim that they are biased and have an agenda. Maybe its not that they cant understand, but rather that they refuse to understand.

Have any of the alphabets EVER promoted a conservative to Washington bureau chief? OK, they will claim that their current chiefs are non political, but there is obviously a percieved bias, even if there is not a real one (there is).
How about just ONE time promoting a "percieved" conservative to one of these posts. Just once.

There wont be any bias in this show. George not only had a brown nose his whole head was brown. If Clinton hadnt been flatulent Stephanopoulis would have suffocated.
To: John W
I think its very appropriate that they appointed George to preside over the final winddown of ABC News, along with the rest of MSM TV. This ought to be fun to watch as they become less and less relevant and eventually totally irrelevant and consigned to the dustbin of TV anachronisms

about to start his 10th year at ABC NEWS" and "anchor since 2002"Who knew? This article says his show is on a par...ratingwise?...with Shieffer's and Russert's. I don't think so.

I'm so pleased that ABC has allowed another Democratic Operative to head it's press. He will be so good to help me with my run for the presidency. With his help, I will be able to take over America and institute the Democratic Socialism my party has envisioned for America.
