You`re right... I didn`t really expect such a human reaction between all these complacent "he he he will burn in hell"-postings. Seems like the audience of an execution in Iran.
Well, I know no single argument "pro" death penalty - no logical argument. The U.S.A. and the so called rogue states have not much common grounds I think, but the death penalty is one. Schwarzenegger had the chance to make a good step against it, but he didn`t. In my view it looks like: Williams - 4 victims, Schwarzenegger - 3 victims (and more to come, I bet).

I guess I part company with you at that point. While I oppose capital punishment, I don't equate Tookie's murders with Arnold's enforcement of California law.

In any case, my post really was not about capital punishment, but about the ghoulish attitude of some posters to this thread. I can't disagree with your Iran analogy.
