The Jewish answer is if our lives are cut short for any reason, we're sent back again. Whoever didn't get to live out their biblically decreed sum of earthly years gets a second chance. And so it is said that Abel came back as Moses and Cain came back as Aaron and they repaired the gulf between them as brothers and went on to do a great deal of good in the world. So its not at all hopeless, unless you really believe as many on the Left apparently do, that this life is the only one that counts.

There is no reincarnation in this life.

Hebrews tells us that it is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment.

There is no second chance if one refuses the grace of Christ in this world.
