I say this most respectfully now that Tookie is dead, that Tookie's execution should have been carried out in Compton,CA, in some public area. Following which his body should have been placed there for 24hrs to allow other "residents" to pay their respects.

And after crows and rats had feed on his carcass for a week, he should be buried in an unmarked grave under a public way, so that his grave is constantly defiled by the hooves of donkeys, the wheels of carts and feet of travelers. Indeed, the old ways were best.
