"Maybe he is innocent. "
There is NO way Williams is innocent.
The evidence was overwhelmingly incontrovertible.
Even the 9th Circuit court, the most liberal in the land, said he was guilty.
If there'd been something they could release him for, the 9th circuit would have.
Try again "no death taut"
I guess I part company with you at that point. While I oppose capital punishment, I don't equate Tookie's murders with Arnold's enforcement of California law.
Well, I know no single argument "pro" death penalty - no logical argument
There are plenty of good arguments for the death penalty. Here are a few:

I just happen to think that the arguments against it are marginally better, as per George Will's now-famous column:

In any case, my post really was not about capital punishment, but about the ghoulish attitude of some posters to this thread. I can't disagree with your Iran analogy.
Herr ist tode.
Ist Nacht Wunderbar?
Apology accepted, and Merry Christmas to you, too.
"but I would rather see him sitting in cell for rest of his life instead being dead."
No thanks.
His victims didn't get to live the rest of their lives, why should he?
He gets the same amount of sympathy from me as he gave to his victims -none.
Glad he's gone. He should have asked for forgiveness from his victims families and his maker before he went. Not a wise man. Only a fool would kneel before God without that in grasp.
He was continually violent while in prison.
He would have never asked for forgiveness, and if he had tried, it wouldn't have been sincere.
"Anyway so you believe anyone that killed a person should get death penality? Regardless what the circumstances of the death is? "
Okay, we'll play.
Tell me what 'circumstances' Stanley faced that made the death penalty unwarranted.
First things first, your English SUCKS.
Second thing, whether or not he "reformed" is between him and God.
Third thing, there is AMPLE evidence that he had NOT reformed or even left the lifestyle of being a gangster.
"You got them phonetically correct - it's "Charon" and "Acheron."
Thanks for correcting the spelling.
Tookie is beyond guilty.

In Williams case, justice was FINALLY served.
"I am a German am however in Japan drawn up."
