Great article! Unlike the socialist/globalists in the White House and Congress, Phyllis Schlafly is a genuine conservative who always has America's interest at heart.

We need to clean house in Congress, and if America can survive three more years of GWBush, hopefully we can elect a real conservative as President who will actually represent US.

I think we should let everyone and anyone become citizens of the usa, let all who wish to come here come come here, tax, tax, tax the rich, middle and working class to support the immigrants. Raise income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, whatever it takes. America should be a welcomeing society and screw the greedy tax payers, they are nothing but selfish capitalist pigs. Tax every damn thing they have, tax them until they scream in pain and then throw them pennyless and homeless out into the streets.

I love our immigration policy, Go Teddy, Go W, screw America. Tax tax tax and tax some more, way to go!

"How long will it be before our "guest workers" begin agitating for" their own zones of local control and Spanish only.

As soon as they have what they feel are the numbers required to effectively rule an enclave. I kid you not there are places in the western USA that gringos are not welcome and traditional sources of authority fear to tread, and it's not just the slums of big cities. If you doubt me take a trip to:

East L.A. ,CA

Tierra Amarilla, NM

South Omaha,NE

Galina Park,TX

Brownsville,TX

Baltimore,MD

Pueblo,CO

We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.

Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.

Or, East L.A. ,CA

For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.

George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000.

In the "new America" it will all be better.

I wonder how the "new America" will be different from Mexico.
