Another fact the MSM/Hollywierd, etc., are ignoring. There is only a small number of black men on death row in California; the overwhelming majority are white.

I don't care what Arnold personally believes as long as what he does is according to existing law and what the citizens of the late great state of Kalifornia want to see him do in his position.

I'll admit I feared he would cave to his Hollywood friends on this one and I'm pleased to see how intelligently he laid our the facts and basis of his decision.

Please inform me, (I am young and have never been on death row)why is it that the people who commit these horrendous crimes continue to live behind bars for decades after they have been sentenced? Why don't they just have a seperate room immediately outside the courtroom to put them down in?

Ah, lawyers, young one. Even in times of old (Back in Bill Shakespears time) lawyers were loathed to the bone.

Today, we have tolerance (and just like rats) it just seems impossible to get rid of them. The rats, I mean.

I cannot say whether or not the death penalty is a deterrent to crime or not . . .

Wonder no more! It is demonstrably a deterrent. Clearly, the criminal who is executed is deterred from further criminal activity!

that's more like the Arnold we all know and love

I found that if I read the statement with a German Accent, it read a whole lot better and just felt more authentic.

Therefore, based on the totality of circumstances in this case, Herr Villiams' request for clemency is kaput!

"Without an apology and atonement for these senseless and brutal killings there can be no redemption."

Thats what I didn't get. The murderous scum kept saying he was innocent, and if that wasn't good enough, he was reformed.

Well, which one was it genius? Oh, thats right. He's unavailable for comment.

...the countless other men, women and youths who have to endure the hellish oppression of living behind bars.

Guess what, Stanley? Prison isn't supposed to be fun!

And, by the way, I'm sick of hearing about Stanley's books. At best, they were written in collaboration with activist/journalist Barbara Cottman Becnel. More likely, she wrote the books and used his name to promote them.

Once back in Los Angeles, Williams asked if anyone wanted to get something to eat. When Sims asked Williams why he shot Owens, Williams said he "didn't want to leave any witnesses." Williams also said he killed Owens "because he was white and he was killing all white people."

The above is from this article. I've been belaboring this all over these posted articles about Tookie, because it really is a very important point. Not what motivated Tookie Williams to pull the trigger decades ago, but the official press and government reaction to the fact above, what it says about the system, and what it portends for the future. If Schwarzenegger knew of Williams statements about the death agonies of Albert Owens he almost certainly also knew about his statements regarding racial motivations as well, but so deeply institutionalized is anti-white hatred in this country that no politician dare condemn it, even in cases of murder. He makes a point of Williams referring to the other victims as "Budda-heads", that is politically acceptable, but purges the truth, Soviet-style, in the first case. He understands what the system demands of him.
