Must be where he cultivated his liberal disease. Ever notice the anti-war message in MASH? I think it's the other way around. He was hired because of his "liberal disease." And the message of MASH (both the movie and TV show) wasn't so much anti-war as it was anti-American. They often dropped little bon mots that attempted to justify the poor Korean (Vietnamese) Communists fight for "their country."

Harry Morgan and Wayne Rogers were the only people I liked on the show. Movie sucked, and so did the tv show.
