Remember union workers in this country taught the rest of the world how to produce.

Uh, no, actually Henry Ford taught workers that came here from around the world (mostly Europeans) how to produce and they later formed unions. Those workers worked hard (many still do), but they weren't the innovators.

Wrong, many of today's manufacturing menthods came from the men on the line, only to be refined by the engineers and the subsequent credit taken by the managers and CO's.
