this has got to hurt the "pot cures all crowd". Anyone else not surprised she developed mental problems after taking pot?

Looks like they should have used the indica strain instead of the sativa...

this has got to hurt the "pot cures all crowd" Hey idiot, reread your own post.
She took a synthetic form of pot. Big difference.
Man, you pro-drug warriors are all the same....

This is for all the anti-pot people in this thread:
Stupidity is the most widely used drug to escape reality from, just look at the liberals; you should all take a step back and examine pot objectively. Most of you who think it's so bad have never done it. It's like anything else, some people do way too much and then lead loserous lives because of a general lack of ambition. But for every one of them there are many who smoke pot who are highly intelligent and lead very useful and good lives. Smoking anything is bad for your lungs, but other than that, pot is freaking harmless.

Are you sure she's 'dead'? (Maybe just really stoned...)

She had complications of diabetes to the point of diabetic neuropathy. I would hazard a guess that her kidney failure had more to do with diabetes than taking the pot.

Everyone knows that with the real harsh stuff you have to wash it down with a few beers. Kidney failure was cause by alcohol probably, not pot?

Sounds unlikely that her problems were caused by cannabis.

This post has got to hurt the "innocent until proven guilty" crowd. It'll ptobably also put a serious smackdown on the crowd all in to that "logic" garbage. That fact is, this lady died, she had been "taking" pot in a modified medicinal form, so therefore pot kills. See? Logic!
How about waiting until the report comes back to see if maybe, just possibly, her being diabetic had anything at all to do with her death? A person that age, already into neopathy to that stage... not terribly surprising there'd be a death involved. Better check what she ate. We might find that Twinkies kill, or roast beef kills. Sure would hurt the "food is good for you" crowd then, wouldn't it? There's a huge difference between circumstantial evidence, guilt by association, and cause and effect.

"pot...mental problems" All I know is that almost all the great songwriters of the sixties had very short creative periods. Then they got all the money they needed to smoke as much dope as they wanted. Subsequently the quality of their music went downhill fast. Evidence: Paul McCartney's sappy post-Beatles career.

It wasnt pot. Sativex is a marijuana based drug, not marijuana. In order for the drug companies to make any money from it, they have to alter the THC or include outer additives in their form of the drug. Better stick with the real thing.

No idiot, she didn't "die from pot". She died from exactly what every idiot drug warrior wants - "a drug made from pot that does everything pot does (not quite as well) but marches lockstep with the government propagandists and allows huge drug companies to make billions on something that doesn't work as well as the natural substance while assuaging WOSD'ers that anybody, somewhere, could be doing something they personally disagree with".
And, hey, and after all, that's what's REALLY important to you guys.... If some people have to die or have their lives and fortunes destroyed on the way to your personal hypocritical drug-free utopia - so be it.

taking potI think she's on the pot. She's taking the pot, and now she's on the pot. She's the pot-on head, because she took the pot and now she's on the pot, and pot-on heads are often on the pot.

Whats funny is when you go from natural products to pharmacueticals people always seem to get killed. But the drug companies get a pass.
