If sonmeone receives the Death Penalty they should be executed within 5 years at the max. 22 years is ridiulous, he's older now why bother killing him? The should put him in charge of the SCARED STRAIGHT program.

Richard Ramirez, Ken Bianchi Cold Blooded Serial Killers are still alive WHY?

Good questions. I live in a state that does not have capital punishment. So, murderers here end up in prison for the rest of their miserable lives. That suits me just fine.

Now, however, I must abandon this thread and take care of business stuff.

This is so sick that it's taken 24 years. I feel for the victim's family's. Albert Owen's father died heartbroken in 1995 while Tookie still lived. His mother is making the talk show tours, but she shouldn't have to. The quad killer should have been put to death a long time ago. I don't know anything about the "buddhahead" family, but I'm sure their pain is real.

I wonder how the victim's families feel about Tookie writing children's books? About a movie made about the murderer, about being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Actually I don't wonder. I'm sure every book published, every award nomination and every move made about the murderer was like a stomach punch to them. Albert Owen's father dies 16 years after his son's murder with his killer not only still alive but being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. What's going on now is more torture for these grieving families who lost their loved one at the end of Tookie's double barrel shotgun.

It's time to put everybody on Death Row to death! Why do the survivor's have to suffer through this for YEARS?

I'm also boycotting all these Tookie supporters for failing to see or address the pain of the victim's survivors.

Five years seems insufficient *only* because a few legitimately innocent people have been sprung from death row after five years. That already tiny number of convictions-in-error, I believe, will further decrease as convictions came to benefit from DNA science.

This unquestionably guilty man has been on death row for far too long, however. Those whose guilt is assuredly clear should not be on death row for decades. That truly is a perversion of justice.

"If someone receives the Death Penalty they should be executed within 5 years"

should be =

If someone receives the Death Penalty they should be executed within 5 days

what is it? about 20k+ per year to keep these killers alive in jail. Whos paying for it?
