To: Knitting A Conundrum
Not only that but he himself regards Christmas quite lightly but would cancel Sunday services to celebrate what he states is an erstwhile pagan holiday. So forgetting the constant Holy Sabbath so they can celebrate quasi-paganism (in his opinion.) is acceptable?

Since those of us on this board rail against the media for slanting the news one way or another, would you not consider that there may still be more to this pastor's reasoning in addition to the isolated quotes in the article? I've listened to his entire address of this situation and while I may still be more inclined than not to see all churches have a service on this Christmas Sunday I also entirely agree with what this pastor says. Listen to him, in the entire, unedited sermon and then post your thoughts on this subject. I'd be interested. Southland Christian and Christmas
