Prices many not come down wit a VAT, but they certainly will with the FairTax.
As you've been told - since you've apparently chosen not to research it - the VAT is a very different tax from the FairTax and it affects prices quite differently.
The FT is a VAT. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
