I deliberately waited pretty late to do the Dose today in order to capture as many of the 'Christmas in Washington' pics as possible. Even this late in the evening (it's only about 5:20pm in L.A. as I write this), there weren't very many photos.

The President speaks to the audience as the First Lady looks on during the taping of 'Christmas in Washington' at the National Building Museum. The television special, hosted by TV psychologist Phil McGraw and featuring recording artists Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Ciara, will air December 14 on the TNT network.

Nice photo of the President speaking to the audience. I'd have made this the photo of the day, but there's nothing in the background to suggest Christmas. Besides, no more apples requested a Christmas tree photo.

Singing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing."

The President, First Lady and Dr. Phil during the finale.

President Bush, center, with first lady Laura Bush, second from right, and Time Warner Chairman and CEO Richard Parsons in the audience. GWB is giving the news photographer an exasperated look. (Can't you give me some privacy for one minute?!)

President Bush, Laura Bush, and co-host Robin McGraw during the finale. Notice in all of these singing photos that GWB is sort of pretending to sing while Laura is singing out loud, LOL!

The performers wait on stage as the President addresses the audience. (Jonny, I think that's Carrie standing next to Dr. Phil.)

The finale.

President and Mrs. Bush leave St. John's Church with Rev. Luis Leon after attending morning services, Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005.

The First Lady hold her husband's arm as they walk toward the presidential limo after attending church.

Laura was wearing a pretty coat. Although pink is definitely not a favorite color of mine, the coat is more of a hot pink. It looked nice on her.

GWB waves to the media. LOL! The way the camera caught his hand it motion, it almost looks like he was starting to point to someone. GWB to reporter: You fool [insert nickname], you just keep right on guessing about what Rummy and I are going to do.

ALL CLEAR! That's the only photos available on Yahoo News. Maybe more will show up tomorrow. If so, snugs will definitely capture them for us.
