#75..I see we see the same possibilities..It was a real adventure and a trial at times with my mother..I did not know how bad it was going to get..I then yearned for the occasionally very embarrassing moments when she still knew who I was.
On her own she had made me her trustee and gave me power of attorney when she was still in good shape. She insisted.
I don't see Mike as the kind who would have done that somehow..

I am sorry for your mom and you. It is a natural part of aging...one not talked about much. Glad your mom took care of it before she lost it; however, a judge would have taken care of it had she not.
In Mike Wallace's case, a judge will take care of it if it is so bad as to threaten his assets and safety. Maybe this is what Chris is dealing with. Prayers for him and for you. Aging is not a picnic. Love has to overcome and hold steady even in the face of belligerence.
