Russert: In 1998 the Iraqi Liberation Act was signed by Clinton and it called for removing Saddam Hussein. President Clinton said that Saddam threatened the security of the world.
Albright: We put Saddam in a box; he wasn't an imminent threat. The war was an unnecessary choice and badly planned.
Russert: If you knew today what you know now, would you vote for war in Iraq.
Albright: I'd have kept the focus on Afghanistan. There was no connection between AQ and Iraq. (This is where
the administration falls short, not reminding people about the connections WELL BEFORE the war).
Russert: Graham cited direct evidence that Iraq supported AQ who planned 9/11 and was an imminent threat.
Graham: I was wrong.
Some day our Republican Congressmen are going to educate themselves about the relationship between Saddam and AQ; the MSM wrote frequently about the relationship in the 90's.
Russert: Was there a linkage between 9/11 and Saddam?
Graham: That seems to have fallen apart.

Someday, the entire country is going to become educated as to the very real connection between Islamofacists of all nationalities. Of course, a terrorist attack of monumental proportions will have occurred.
Lindsey Graham and his seadaddy McCain are examples of the most dangerous type of politician- Moderates. At least the Leftist zealots are relatively easy to defeat as a result of their ridiculous policies. Sadly, the US is currently under the Moderate spell. That is, one doesn't need to believe strongly in anything- it's so comfortable.
Any person who preaches the need to be very sensitive to international law (?) while engaged in a fight against madmen, is also patently insane. Senator Graham should be calling for more "white flag" adds with images of our fellow citizens jumping to their deaths on 9/11. But he just can't help being confused; he has the Moderate sickness.
