If I were Bush I wouldn't call Mutha either.
He should have been called...on the carpet...
The best I can say for Murtha is that he appears to patronize the same restaurants as Ted Kennedy......
They could share each other's wardrobe!
Who in their right mind would want the Presidency any more when your intelligence is impugned, you're accused of lying, cheating, treason, and murder?
Whoops, that could describe Billy Jeff (except that no one ever denied his intelligence), and he never gave up. Of course, the media never really accused him of any of those things.
And, one more random thought. If that's really the cover illustration, it's just a picture variation of the "Bush is out of touch" mantra that they used when they showed W's dad in the grocery store admiring the barcode scanner. You have to hand it to these b@st@rds, they're good with propaganda.
So...Murtha feels neglected and lashes out at the President and the troops. His hurt feeling cause him to wish a Vietnam era defeat on this country. Only this time it would be worse because the bad guys would recognize this as a sign of cowaridce, and it would be open season on America.
