Given the scale of the Texas City Disaster of 1947, it would have made Osama proud to have been able to claim credit. Certainly it put Tim McVeigh's gadget to shame. But guess what? It was an accident!

If the current incident turns out to be TROP, it will be pretty much the first time they've gone after infrastructure, other than in Iraq. There was that ineffectual attempt to blow up a tanker in the Gulf a few years ago. But their attacks are usually aimed at killing as many random civilians as possible.
