Al Franken - Bill Clinton's favorite "war on terror" General
'Pants on Fire: How Al Franken Lies, Smears, and Deceives' | 12-10-2005 | J.Payre

It was recently revealed that Al Franken, who seems to know more about Bill Clinton's war on terror better than Bill Clinton himself, fabricated evidence from the Duelfer Report, stating that Bill Clinton's bombing raid on Iraq destroyed all of Saddam Husseins WMD's.

This is not the first time Al "I never lie" Franken has distorted reports to compensate for Bill Clinton's failures in fighting terrorism.

Alan Skorski, author of 'Pants on Fire: How Al Franken Lies, Smears, and Deceives' wrote in great detail how Al Franken manipulated and distorted The Gellman Report from the Washington Post, December 20, 2001.

Franken claimed that Gellman's report heaped high praise on the Clinton administration for their anti-terror efforts.

As Skorski highlights approx. 20 bullet points from the Gellman Report, plus other information from Dick Morris that Bill Clinton and his entire cabinet never placed fighting terrorism higher than a third tier problem to be dealt with.

For example, according to the Gellam Report, Skorski writes, Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin repeatdly rejected advice from the FBI to disrupt the banking and money laundering that Hamas and other Muslim terrorist organizations were involved with. Rubin also rejected FBI suggestions to shut down the Holy land Foundation which they knew was being used to funnel money back to terrorists in the Middle East.

Skorski continues with evidence provided by Dick Morris that Bill Clinton knew before leaving office where all the "ticking time bombs" were, but decided to leave it for George Bush to deal with.

I absolutely cannot believe that the Armed Forces Network
is going to carry Franken's pathetic TV show on their network!
It's a travesty. Who is in charge of decisions like that?
No person in their right mind wishes to listen to Franken's
irritating ramblings/ Are you listening USO?
People like this should be 100% blackballed from anything to do with the war or the troops. Let them stew in their own creepy brew with all their anti-war friends or crawl back under they rock they oozed out from.

Alan Skorski issued a press release asking Armed Forces radio to drop the Al Franken Show from their broadcast. This story was reported by World Net Daily.

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=47773

Skorski has since reported that AFR wanted to offer "balance" by having Limbaugh and Hannity representing conservatives voices, and Ed Shultz and Franken to offer a liberal perspective.

Just what our troops deserve. One said saying that we support you and the other side saying, you are dying for George Bush's lies.

AFR ONLY offers these programs, it is up to the individual stations overseas whether to broadcast them or not. Come January, Armed Forces radio will release information about how many affiliates actually chose to offer the Franken show.
