The Colts defense played aggressively, and the offense was quite efficient. Jacksonville had the ball only one time during the third quarter, and went three-and-out on that possession. Two long drives by the Colts consumed the rest of the quarter.

The Jaguars weren't helped at all by the fact that they were being led by their second-string quarterback, that their first-string running back remains gimpy, and that they turned the ball over three times, twice in the red zone.

They did start playing more respectably in the fourth quarter. Had they played the entire game with that level of intensity, the Colts might have lost.
