I think it means he's a bill collector for people behind on their car payments.
His email is "willpowerful" - which sounds vaguely Nietzchean (kookoo alert) - and his blog invokes Thomas Paine, who wrote Common Sense but in later years allowed his hatred of organized religion and Christianity to overwhelm his reason.
