If Republicans put up a defective candidate and then focus on keeping HRC out at any cost, we will LOSE. Republicans must put up a morally strong candidate we can rally around regardless of what the 'rats do.

I concur with your astute and accurate analysis. Let's hope enough of the GOP primary voters can think as rationally and elect George Allen, or (Mike Pence if he decides to run) as the nominee.
Allen, or Pence, would produce an electoral landslide win. A pro-abort, pro-homosexual, pro-tax, anti-gun rights advocate, such as Rudy Giuliani, would without a doubt lose vs. HRC.

Both of those men are fine people. I would vote for them. But I would also vote for Giuliani. Heck, I would vote for you, jla. ;)

I still say when push comes to shove, you will not place that de facto vote for missus clinton by either voting for a third party or sitting out the election.
