Hwang has said he is not intending to clone humans.

We shouldn't be playing God. And we don't need embryonic stem cells when we have adult stem cells. Embryonic stem cells don't offer anything more. Not to mention the moral implications of the act.

I think it best to leave well enough alone. I don't see how cloning can cure a disease. It's a dangerous path. Just my two cents worth.

It's much worse already ... from the article:"In May, their study on using tissue from patients to grow stem cells answered a promise that could one day provide human tissue and organs to cure terminal illnesses." That is a gross and well crafted evil LIE! The implied meaning is the stem cells are 'from the patient' because the tissue used to 'grow the stem cells' is from the patients. THAT is a calculated deception (a lie most foul) since the 'tissues' are used to conceive a new and exactly separate individual human from whom the stem cells will be 'extracted'. The media is directed by the evil plans of someone/some agenda and this sort of purposeful deception is becoming too commonplace.
