NOTE:  you are bidding on a framed and signed original limerick created by FreeRepublic contributor Doug from Upland.  Yes, that FreeRepublic; the one that took down Dan "What's the Frequency, Kenneth" Rather and partisan Democrat hack producer Mary Mapes for the phony George Bush documents they used to try to affect the 2004 election.

 DFU is the author of "The Official Clinton Bashing Limerick Book,"  "Willie's White House Limerick Book," and "A Child's Eye View of John Kerry."  The Kerry child's book mocked the Ketchup Boy gigolo without mercy and actually was given a positive book review by John McCaslin of the Washington Times.

This limerick was created to memorialize what is to happen to convicted quadruple murderer Stanley "Tookie" Williams at San Quentin as justice is finally served.  The auction is scheduled to end at 12:15am on Dec. 13.  To increase the potential historical value of the limerick, I tried to make the end of the auction coincide with the end of Tookie.  Since I have no control of the procedure, however, don't blame me if it lasts longer.  It takes the cooperation of the guys strapping him down and wheeling in the gurney, the person administering the injection of chemicals, and, of course, Tookie himself.  Hey, if there is a power failure, prison riot, or earthquake, it is not my fault.

For Tookie, it's his final journey

They'll wheel him in on the gurney

He'll be screaming "Oh, no!"

'Cause he knows where he'll go

In hades he's going to burn-ey

The limerick will be signed and dedicated as you wish.  If you would like it dedicated to Mike Farrell, Snoop Dogg, Bianca Jagger, Barbara Becnel, Rita Cosby, Danny Glover, Jamie Foxx, Harry Belafonte, or Jesse Jackson, that would be fine.  If you want to make copies to send to those people, you have my authority to do so.

Lethal injection is the prescribed method of execution in California, however, the inmate has the right to choose the gas chamber if he so wishes.  If there is a last-minute change and he chooses the gas chamber, I will write a gas chamber limerick to your approval or you may withdraw your bid.

If Tookie really does care about the kids, he will confess to the murders and ask for forgiveness.  The best lesson he can teach to kids is that, if you choose to murder an innocent human being, this will be your fate.
